It bears noting that at the time this mine couldn't have been owned by Amajina & Sons Mining Concern, as that wasn't founded until 1421, and it isn't known at what point in time it changed hands. The abandoned Amajina Mythril Mine (アマジナ霊銀山跡 or 'amajina mythril mine ruins' in Japanese) started its life as a small copper mine 1, but the discovery of mythril within triggered the Mad Mythril Rush in 1415. This was the reason the northern half of Bluefog was renamed after general Raubahn Aldynn after he succeeded in holding back Garlean forces in the region with but a handful of soldiers. The old entrance is inaccessible and skipped over in transition from Black Brush to Bluefog, as it used to lie to the south-east of Camp Bluefog.īluefog was scene to many harrowing battles after the Calamity as the Garleans fortified their presence in the area. There also used to be an access point to Cutter's Cry in Bluefog, although this entrance presumably collapsed in the Calamity, as the only known access point post-Calamity is located in Black Brush. The way now passes through a cave complex connected to Nanawa Mines. Both remain in some form, although access to Mor Dhona is largely controlled by Garleans, and the original way to Black Brush became inaccessible in the Calamity. Bluefog also had access points to Mor Dhona in the north and Black Brush in the south. Between Bluefog and Hidden Gorge lies the Ceruleum Field, which stains most the landscape around it ceruleum blue. Cutter's Pass has since been built over by Garleans and now houses the Castrum Meridianum, whereas the nothern half of Bluefog was renamed Raubahn's Push. Before the Calamity, Bluefog had access to Sea of Spires in the north-east, Cutter's Pass in the north-west, and Hidden Gorge to the south-west. Bluefog (ブルーフォグ in Japanese) is the main area forming the northern reaches of Thanalan, and the only old area accessible in northern Thanalan post- Calamity.
